"Rejoice because your names are written in heaven" (Lk 10:20)

The ruined Byzantine church in Ephraim-Taibeh, "overlooking the Judean desert" (Jn 11:54)

Love your enemies, do good to them, lend expecting nothing back; then your reward will be great "and you will be children of the Most High" (Lk 6:35)

"Rejoice because your names are written in heaven." (Lk 10:20)

And to the Elder Son who complains that he has never received so much as a young goat from his father: "My son, you are here with me always, and all I have is yours."

The Reward is to be sons and daughters of the Father. The Reward is simply to know that all that is His is ours. The Reward is to have our names written in heaven.
