C.S. Lewis and Bede Griffiths

Fabio Attard was mentioning the other day that Bede and C.S. Lewis were friends, and this is true, I didn't know it. There does not seem much written on the topic, but here is a book I found on the net:

Ron Dart, C.S. Lewis and Bede Griffiths: Chief CompanionsCreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, 2016.

"There are many who have written much about C.S. Lewis but ignored his decades long friendship with Bede Griffiths. There are many devotees of Bede Griffiths who are unaware of his enduring friendship with C.S. Lewis. This book draws together, from a variety of sources, letters and articles the many explicit connections between Lewis and Griffiths and why, aptly so, they saw one another as chief companions on the faith journey." (https://www.amazon.ca/C-S-Lewis-Bede-Griffiths-Companions/dp/1530176433)

So C.S. Lewis, Bede Griffiths, and Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. An interesting network of relationships. And then Sara Grant and Iris Murdoch...
